Either personally or professionally, it is not surprising that we get to manage profiles on multiple social networks (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook...) e, even within the same social network maintain more than one user (personal, our company, any brand name...). Aiming to optimise efforts and be more productive in the management of the information we have talked about somewhere that another occasion of centralizing management in tools such as Buffer, HootSuite or TweetDeck (although its scope is somewhat smaller) for, thus, be much more effective in our work taking advantage of the programming of publications or the possibility of measuring our impact thanks to the statistical data that can provide us with some of these tools.
Personally, I find Buffer as one of the most interesting tools we can find because, although offers a choice of payment, the free service is quite functional and allows us multiple options when managing multiple profiles, use URL shorteners or something as fundamental as having an idea of the impact of our actions.
If Buffer of itself it was a very interesting tool, the service has today undergone a transformation that greatly improves and that, personally, will help us to manage much more productive our profiles and profiles of third parties that we manage for our company or our customers (in addition to allow us to collaborate and work as a group with our coworkers).
One of the most obvious changes is that the web service has changed completely since design and hand of this redesign, the usability of the platform has been improved considerably. At a single glance you can manage profiles that we have associated with Buffer seeing, for each of them, the publications that we have scheduled lists to be published. In this sense, Buffer allows us to manage profiles on Twitter, profiles and Facebook pages and profiles and pages on LinkedIn, a fairly wide range of options which opens the door to professional use of the service. Thanks to this change will allow us much better view the profiles that we manage, the tail of publications and within the schedules, clearly see the attached links (which can shorten by linking our account in any of the services supported such as Bit.ly) and preview the images you are going to share.
Another of the improvements is the possibility of exchanging the contents scheduled between different profiles that we manage, IE, we can leave scheduled a publication on Facebook and then move it to publications on Twitter queue or, for example, some of the pages of Facebook that we manage with this application. Also added an interesting option called shuffle, that offers us the possibility to reorder our queue of publications (at the discretion of Buffer) and adjust automatically to avoid to share many links followed from a single source.
In addition to the management of publications, which is one of the values of Buffer, another aspect that makes it very interesting is the information that shows the impact of our activity. In this sense, besides offering us the information of clicks that have received the links that we have shared, the reach of our message (obtained as the sum of our audience, i.e. the followers we have more audience of users who have shared our publication) or the retweets that have made other users, Buffer adds a special publications brand that has been especially significant (have had a large impact) by adding an indicator called Top Tweet You will help us to analyze which publications like our audience (and that we can even redistribute the rest of profiles that we manage).
Within the configuration options, they used to ride something hidden, Buffer has decided to make more accessible the establishment of the schedule of the tweets or scheduled publications and facilitate as well the definition of schedules to publish. Another detail that has pleased me much is the possibility to manage, along with other users, profiles that we have linked to the service, allowing the members of a team work together and visualize what schedules have been established classmates (avoiding that they stepped on each other).
Together with these changes, the Buffer iPhone application also has been redesigned, as it is logical to follow all these improvements so, seeing the range of options and features available, Buffer is a good choice to manage our profiles and share content in addition to being an interesting tool to manage profiles in a professional manner.
