Visceral Games today announced that Dead Space 3 demo will be available for download via Xbox Live and PlayStation Network on January 22. Xbox 360 players who want to enjoy the demo one week before must register at http://demo.deadspace.com.
During the demonstration the players will accompany Isaac Clarke and Sergeant John Carver through a new and dangerous ice cream planet called Tau Volantis, a key place for the destruction of the necromorphic. As you know, the main novelty of Dead Space 3 is that it will have a co-op mode allowing two players to overcome the main campaign and experiment additional details of history, side quests and new game mechanics that will only be available when we play with Sergeant Carver.
The third installment of this saga of success takes its characteristic elements, horror, action, suspense and atmosphere of tension generated by thanks to their environmental sounds. All these ingredients have joined his new cooperative mode and the possibilities offered by Kinect, allowing the player to use voice commands to cure to peers, share with them ammunition or more easily find objects in space.
I must admit that at first I showed a little reluctant to the new adventure of Isaac. The introduction of a co-op who successfully lowered the degree of fear and tension in the players was a news item not received too well those players that we enjoyed with his first delivery. I am curious to try it and it is another game to take into account at the beginning of 2013. Cooperative modes often enrich much a video game, but this is a somewhat special case.
Dead Space 3 will come to Europe from February 8 to the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 platforms and PC.
