With the purchase of Sparrow by Google it seemed that we stayed without a good email application on iOS. If it is true that Apple's official application is not bad but it is always good having alternatives. Sparrow was one of them but today we have a new player and it also has very good paint. He is called Mailbox and these are its main features.

Mailbox is an application that aims to give back to the way in which we organize emails. While Sparrow was better than email because it offered more and better options, Mailbox moves under 3 very simple assumptions to help us better manage our mail.

We have the option of maintaining emails in our Inbox, save the emails for later and get rid of them quickly. It does it all with a very simplistic interface and a set of very intuitive gestures which catch much borrowed from Clear since it also shows colors that work in a very visual manner.

Regarding the gestures these are very simple. To archive an email you will suffice us a short glide to the right and tell us with a green color. To delete it we will do it with a longer displacement to the left and it will indicate with a red color.

The function that is perhaps the most interesting is the save email for later. If slip to the left you will see a yellow color and a window where we will have various options of time will appear. Later (three hours later), tomorrow, week-end, week coming, etc. What will make the application is to get email from the Inbox and again we present at the indicated time.

It works as a "Read Later" of those who are accustomed to using to save texts. We thus avoid having to deal with emails that are not appropriate for the time of day in which we are. Otherwise it is a customer who works regularly. Perhaps lacks integration greater with Gmail in order to have labels so you'll have to evaluate that you functions you need most.

The application will exit in new year at a price yet to be determined.
