For many professionals, the meetings are something that is part of our day to day but when we need to move us to a customer location (either in our city or another) lose time displacement in addition to incurring transportation costs, or even housing. In the current economic context, there are many companies that are turning to virtual meetings for gain in productivity (avoiding wasting time travelling) and save some money.
In this sense, in the network can find a good number of services that make virtual meetings, either through video conferencing (such as Skype, LiveMinutes or some other alternative) or voice audio-conferencias (using services like Uberconference). The audio-conferencias, or conference calls, are fairly commonplace at the enterprise level and have replaced the typical meetings of control and monitoring, making more flexible the workday of attendees and avoiding bothersome trips.
Within a meeting it is practical common take notes of the treated aspects, either for our personal notes or to make the minutes with the summary of the meeting (to be sent to all attendees). Personally I prefer to use a "digital booklet" one paper because, that way, me is easier to draw up the minutes from the notes I take in Evernote and, precisely, around this service have been launched several services focused to facilitate virtual meetings and to facilitate attendees take notes, draw up the minutes of the meeting and record the aspects that have been treated.
Callnote is an application that acts as a complement to Skype to record the conversation we have had in our meeting, i.e., acts as a voice recorder. The idea is simple, we maintain a videoconference or call phone call (with one or more users) and we record all conversation in order to transcribe it, or directly, to keep it in our files as a "total Act" of everything that has been treated. The incentive is that, in addition to recording the conversation, this add-on for Skype allows us to store the audio file directly into your Evernote account (making it the repository for the records of the meetings).
In addition to recording the join (supporting up to 8 participants), the application allows us to automatically register the generated in Evernote note the names of the participants in the meeting (a typical datum that is often added in meeting minutes and notes), record the start of the meeting and its duration time, send the minutes with the recording to attendees as soon as you finish the meeting (hang up the call) or request the approval of users before start recording.
FreeConference directly offers the possibility of organizing conference calls with other users and, in addition, we can also create notes in Evernote to collect information or write the minutes during the celebration of the meeting itself. The service offers us, free of charge, between users voice calls (although there are payment options), take notes of the meeting and subsequently share them, share notes with others or, even, to share our desktop as if it were a slate.
With the variety of applications and tools that are available, if the companies operating these models they could save enough money and, above all, would gain in productivity.
