Syncbox is a service of backup files in the cloud, similar to Dropbox, allowing us to store all kinds of files on external servers. Installation of the service involves downloading the Syncbox Server program and then the customer, of which there are versions for Windows, Ubuntu, Mac, Android and iOS.

The Syncbox interesting is that it provides "terabytes" of storage capacity without paying a single penny, although on his website does not mention how many terabytes we are talking about. He also mentions that videos can be uploaded and that it has a streaming service, so the maximum capacity for storing files should be high.

The service also offers the ability to make public the files, so possible to share them with another user or a group of users.

I wanted to see if Syncbox was able to upload a video to view it then streaming, as they promised. No it took me too long to check that the mentioned "terabytes" aren't as its developers say. When trying to upload a video, it has left the message that the file was too large.

To save files in the cloud, Dropbox, Google Drive, or any other similar service, they are sufficient. We have not learned much capacity offers Syncbox and may be a good alternative service (although you must install two files separately) for files low size. For my part, I prefer DropBox.
