Productivity tools there are many, and IFTTT is one of our favourites. Its acronym mean If This, Then That, and it works from creating simple rules to make life easier for us and "make internet work for us", as it is their slogan. Automation tools can be very useful because we could not believe the amount of time that we lose in monotonous tasks. On several occasions we have mentioned them some of our favorite recipes, and today we'll expand our recipe book with some interesting additions.

Rather than nothing, if they knew no IFTTT or something felt shy to try it, I really recommend it. The purpose of this service is to simplify us life, and for it has sync with some of the most important platforms on which we surely have a profile created or use regularly. Thus, we can find Sync with Dropbox, Facebook, Google Drive, Instagram, Calendar, WordPress, SoundCloud and more.

In addition to be able to use the wide repertoire of recipes that we have available, we can also create our own very simple. Make an account is as easy as entering our e-mail, but once we create recipes subject Gets a little more complicated with Sync Services. If we are accustomed to this type of managers, there's nothing outside of the other world that we have not seen before in terms of permissions.

To create our own recipe, you have to select the service that will serve as a "trigger" to generate an action. For example, when you upload a photo to Instagram. We have to activate that channel after selecting it, which is done simply by entering username and password. Once we have this, we can create the recipe according to a particular action. For example, in the case of Google Reader, we have the possibility of using as "triggers" to new items marked as Favorites, or new articles tagged in some way. Then you have to select the final service.

As we can see, create a recipe in IFTTT is very easy, and we can customize our experience altogether. If we have no desire or honestly nothing to automate, what can we do not we think it is, as we have said, use the recipe book that other users have made public. To do this we need obviously to synchronize our own accounts, but the action will be the same. At the time we gave them 10 basic recipes up to 36 advanced recommendations and today we are going to evaluate what's new.

If you choose the option to Browse, located in the top bar, you will see recipes that have been created by all users. It can be a little overwhelming because many recipes are repeated. And also because there are several that are in different languages so we won't really know what they do. The best way to locate recipes that best suit us is looking for a particular service in the search bar.

IFTTT has support for services like Dropbox, Box and Google Drive. The practicality of these platforms is incredible, and allows us from saving files to perform collaborative work.
