One of the aspects which we must put the focus is, without any doubt, the Security of our personal data and, in this sense, our smartphones and tablets hoard large amount of personal information that we must safeguard properly. Yesterday we dedicate a few minutes to talk about Safe Notes for Android, an application that allowed us to encrypt the contents of our notes and, thus, preserve the annotations that we took in our mobile terminal from strangers. Following this same path, another recommended option that we can find in Google Play is CryptRoll that, in addition to protecting our notes, you can help us make our communications secure.


And what offers CryptRoll? This application for Android, which by the way is free, enjoys popular among users because it offers us the possibility to encrypt much of the data that we exchanged with our smartphone. For starters, we can apply encryption to notes that we store in Notepad on the device (using AES-256 encryption and establishing a password). In addition, if the notes were not enough, it also allows us encrypt the contents that we upload to the cloud because we can also encrypt the texts that we upload to Google Docs.

Although it may seem close to the world of espionage, this application also allows us to encrypt a text and send it through an SMS or an email, i.e. we can use to send encrypted messages (using AES-256) and, certainly confuse our friends.

In the same way that CryptRoll is used to encrypt messages, the application also allows us to descrifrarlos, that is, that if we receive a message with your content encryption also we can use this application to decode the text and get the content of the message. Indeed, to give even more flexibility to this application, the developers have also worked in a desktop application (for Windows) with which we can operate in the same way as on your Android.

The idea of this application, in my opinion, is quite interesting to work safely, ensuring the secrecy of our notes and also of our communications. Improve the safety of our devices is that we have more confidence in its use and, therefore, enjoy them much more to exploit increasingly more features and practical uses.
