With about 31 million users, Waze, the free application of co-operative navigation for drivers, seems to be turning into one of the best platforms for the consultation of the traffic and tracking the status of roads. Its founder, says the israeli Uri Levine, Waze will end with the traditional GPS Navigator.

The touchstone which makes this app a bonanza for drivers turns out to be its system of cooperation between the users (crowdsourcing), where are they who generate the content, so that your "creation" is to gradually, producing with more or less constant updates depending on the mass of users, a sort of cartography in phase uninterruptible beta. I.e., maps and notices about works, traffic jams, accidents, or controls are recorded once a user has been warned, creating thereby a feedback between the community and each of its members. He is not only maps, but a "social network for drivers" in which they cooperate with each other to report (se) on the situation of trafficking and other services.

In Spain has about 800,000 users. It should be recalled that, as a platform based on the cooperation of users, Waze functionality will better there where as many users has with the application, so that, in principle, is very attractive to large cities or major towns, where up-to-date information in maps or update possibilities are more likely. More play, better is the game.

As any browser, it has voice-over available in several languages. It also can incorporate information about various services on route such as restaurants, petrol stations, car parks, pharmacies, etc. One of the more peculiar items is your choice "Encounters", through which we can send a message to the phone of the person you are going to find this share your location and thus draw travel so that person knows how much we can take. The interface also includes a motorized "avatar" that resembles the use of the application to participate in a game, where get points is the more used.

The application is available for free at Google Play and Apple Store.
