Coinciding with the expected release of the Hobbit: an unexpected journey, ToME-Team, a small team of programming, has published a trabajadisimo mod called Tales of Middle-Earth for the dear Age of Empires II which takes us back to the Middle-Earth of the universe designed by J.R. Tolkien.


They have created more than one hundred of buildingnew s (with their corresponding animations of construction and destruction), with recognizable locales such as the Tower of Barad-dûr or Rohan and over 30 types of units, which include all sorts of creatures seen in the novels and movies. In addition to this, it has compatibility for playing it in multiplayer.

As you can see, it has a vast amount of content and quality (as you can see by the pictures). The mod weighs more than 100 Megs because all content that hosts, and can be downloaded from ModDB. Although not necessary for any excuse, this Christmas we already have another reason for rejugar for the umpteenth time the Age of Empires II.
