Since Apple got into the mobile devices market we have seen how the company has followed an annual pace of updates and renewals. Since 2007, when Steve Jobs introduced the first iPhone, until today every year there has been a new iPhone. In 2007 the original iPhone, 2008 iPhone 3 G, 2009 2010, iPhone 3GS iPhone 4, 2011 iPhone 4S and in 2012 which is running out saw birth the iPhone 5, the model which is currently on all the shelves of stores (accompanied in some cases by the iPhone 4S and iPhone 4).


With the iPad has been something more or less identical. Original model appeared in 2010, the 2011 arrived iPad 2 and in 2012 was one thing that we did not expect anything: Apple launched the iPad 3 (or the new iPad as they called it) and a few months later came a certain component update, something that for many is a 4 iPad, a practically new, but only in its interior model. In addition, 2012 was also the year where we saw as the mini iPad made its stellar appearance.

Currently, Apple has the vast majority of their main products up-to-date and there really is some doubt of the strategy of updates you can follow from now on, although there are opinions that they believe that the model of annual renewal of devices has come to an end and that from now on we'll see Apple products much more frequent updates.

The market has changed considerably and competition from Apple is engaged in launching new devices continuously. As soon as a new device appears on the market, they spend only a few days until it begins to talk about the following model specifications and a few months later arrives at the market. A new model appears in other cases, and a few weeks come new versions of that same device: more powerful or less, but new versions at the end, after all.

Instead, Apple has been launching virtually annual updates, that gets that sales to concentrate at certain times of the year and makes many people to delay your purchase waiting for the next generation of a device that might still late to arrive some time.

Now it seems that the thing will change and if we do cases to rumors is very possible that the pace of updating of the iPhone and the Apple iPad will see increased. Only a few weeks ago that iPad 4 mini iPad hit the market, but is already talking about that in March could become the next generation of mini iPad with Retina display and processor A6X and next to it a new iPad's 9.7-inch with the same line of design than the iPhone 5 and the current mini iPad.

If this just confirming it would not be surprising that many consumers of products Apple pillasen is a fairly important rebound. We are accustomed to buying products and that these are "the latest model" for at least one year, but if this change is confirmed in the rhythms of Apple product update we should forget this, since it will be very difficult to be always up to date, unless we have a very bulky pocket. Apple could bet on the trend that has continued in recent years, take advantage of a same design for multiple versions of your device and change throughout the interior to accommodate more advanced and more powerful components. Something we have already seen on various mobile devices (iPhone 3 G and iPhone 3GS or iPad 2 and iPad 3) and that the Apple company has been using on their computers since since a lot of years. Perhaps now, instead of seeing only two versions with the same external design, let's look at three or four and general appearance change occurs only once a year (or more each time).

It seems that we have to start to see the market for tablets and phones as computers. Always come something better to what is currently available and is a somewhat absurd to wait, since the next day buy something will come another thing that exceeds it. With the world of computers this has been the case for many years (and is still, albeit perhaps in a less exaggerated way) and with the world of mobile devices is starting to occur and in a way increasingly exaggerated.
